Police Respond to Assault, Person Found Deceased
On Thursday, May 10, 2018, at approximately 10:56 pm, Tualatin Police responded to a report of an assault in the 17000 block of SW Shawnee Trail, in Tualatin.
When officers arrived in the area they found one 47 year old male victim with what appeared to be serious injuries. The male victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance. A deceased 73 year old female victim was found inside the home. The female victim appeared to have suffered from homicidal violence.
Officers also located a 40 year old male suspect inside the home. The male suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was lodged.
This is an active investigation and currently assigned to the Washington County Major Crimes Team.
UPDATE: The suspect in Thursday night's homicide incident on SW Shawnee Trail has been identified as 40 year old Michael Stuart Ross, of Tualatin. Mr. Ross has been charged with murder and attempted murder and is currently lodged in the Washington County Jail.
