Police Seek Help Identifying Theft & Fraud Suspect
On Monday, September 5, 2016, Tualatin Police responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle in the parking lot of Boom Fitness, located at 18039 SW Lower Boones Ferry Rd, in Tualatin.
Sometime between 4:30pm and 4:55pm, an unknown suspect smashed the driver’s side window of the victim’s vehicle and took the victim’s gym bag and wallet. Approximately one hour later, images of an unidentified Caucasian adult female suspect committing fraud with the victim’s credit card were caught on video by loss prevention at the Clackamas Fred Meyer, located at 16301 SE 82nd Ave.
The female fraud suspect was described as approximately 20-30 years of age, having dark brown hair with neon pink highlights at the base. She was wearing a white t-shirt with the word “PEACE” written in black, a gray camouflage hooded sweatshirt and tight, black pants.
Tualatin Police ask anyone with any information that could help identify the female suspect to please call the non-emergency number, 503-629-0111 and reference case #16-2540.
Police urge drivers to always secure valuables in the trunk of the vehicle and never leave them in view of others, inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle while the vehicle is unattended.
Nothing further at this time.
