Tualatin Jewelry Store Burglarized
On Monday, June 24, 2013, at approximately 1:50am, Tualatin Police Officers responded to a reported burglary at the Jared Jewelers, located at 7162 SW Hazelfern Road, in Tualatin.
The incident was initially reported through the alarm company monitoring the business.
Upon arrival, investigators determined that entry was made through an external service area of the business. The suspects took over $150,000 in jewelry.
Tualatin officers, with the assistance of a Beaverton Police K-9 officer, conducted a dog track, but were unable to locate the suspects.
Investigators believe that this incident is possibly related to a similar incident that took place at the Macy’s store in Hillsboro a short time later.
