TUALATIN OFFICERS ARREST CAR VANDALS
On Saturday, September 15, 2012, around 4:30am, several Tualatin vehicle owners were victims of criminal mischief and thefts from their cars.
The incidents took place in the residential area in Southern Tualatin. As many as 11 cars had windows shot out with a BB gun and items were taken from some of them. In addition, one house window was shot with the BB gun. A utility box, a concrete barrier, and some of the involved vehicles were damaged with spray paint.
With the help of witnesses in the area, Tualatin officers were able to apprehend three males related to the crimes. Joshua Blagg, 20 years of age, and Matthew Blagg, 21 years of age, both of Tualatin were arrested. The third, a male juvenile, was released to his parents with no charges pending.
Matthew Blagg was lodged into the Washington County Jail and is being charged with Unlawful Entry Into a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Mischief, and Theft. Please contact the Washington County Jail for a photo. Joshua Blagg was issued a citation for Criminal Mischief and released from the scene.
