TUALATIN POLICE INVESTIGATE HOMICIDE
On June 23, 2012 at about 0523AM, Officers from the Tualatin Police Department responded to the Tualatin Meadows Apartments, located at 18755 SW 90th Avenue in Tualatin on a call of a disturbance.
Upon arrival on scene, officers were flagged down in front of the complex. There, officers located an adult female that appeared to be deceased.
As officers were tending to the female, they were approached by a male subject that was armed with two knives. The subject was contacted by officers, and was ultimately taken into custody.
The male and female did live together in the complex. At this time, there is not any outstanding subjects involved. There is no public safety risk at this time.
The Tualatin Police Department is being aided in the investigation by members of the Washington County Major Crimes Team.
The names of the victim and subject in custody are not being released at this time.
The area in front of the complex will remain closed for several hours while the investigation continues.
At this point, the Tualatin Police are not releasing any other information. Subsequent releases will follow with further information.
