Cyber Monday and Porch Package Theft
Cyber Monday is just a few days away. Purchasing online is quick and convenient but having packages delivered to your porch can be risky. There are thieves who target homes, specifically in search of packages on the porch that are easy to take. Tualatin Police recommend making delivery arrangements if you won’t be home to accept the package. Other methods could include having the package delivered to an alternate address where there is someone to take delivery such as work, asking a neighbor who is home to accept delivery or watch for delivery, or having it delivered to a mailbox or UPS store. Don’t let thieves ruin your holidays; protect your packages by planning ahead. The members of the Tualatin Police Department wish you a super Cyber Monday.
