Death Investigation on Tualatin High School Campus
Over the past few days, there have been several inquiries into a death investigation that was conducted by the Tualatin Police Department during the early morning hours of Friday, June 14, on the campus of Tualatin High School. Tualatin Police do not usually release information about death investigations that are a result of suicide, but based upon the vast amount of false and inaccurate information that is spreading on social media, we will provide the following.
In the early hours of June 14, a 23 year-old male took his own life on the campus of Tualatin High School. The Tualatin Police Department, along with the Washington County Medical Examiner's Office, completed a thorough investigation. Based upon that investigation, it was determined there was no foul play involved with the male's death.
At this time, Tualatin Police will not be releasing any further information surrounding the death, and will not be releasing the name of the deceased out of respect for the family.
