MAN DIES AFTER HE RUNS INTO THE SIDE OF A MOVING CAR IN PARKING LOT
On September 30, 2012 shortly after 6:00PM, Tualatin Police were called to the Stones Throw Apartments located on SW Nyberg Lane for a call of a man who had been struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officer located a male subject lying next to a vehicle in the parking lot. Officers attempted life saving measures, but the male died at the scene.
Tualatin Police Detectives, along with the Clackamas County Major Crimes Team and the Clackamas County Crash Analysis and Forensic Technicians (CRAFT) are investigating the circumstances of the death.
Witnesses at the scene told police that the male was attempting to stop a vehicle that was being driven by his wife from leaving the complex, when he came in contact with the vehicle, and fell to the ground. The name of the deceased male is being withheld until family members can be notified. At this time, no charges have been filed in the case.
