Update: Police Arrest Man Who Exposed Himself in Tualatin Drive-thru
On Saturday, January 04, 2014 at approximately 12:30pm Tualatin and Lake Oswego detectives arrested Robert Ray Martin, 48 years of age, at his home in Sherwood. Martin is charged with 10 counts of felony public indecency and is lodged in the Washington County Jail. A booking photo can be obtained through the Washington County Jail.
Detectives received a tip from a local citizen after they recognized a car matching the description of the suspect’s in this case, in a Tualatin used car sales lot. Tualatin Police responded and confirmed that the vehicle was registered to Martin and had been sold to the used car business on December 30, 2013.
Tualatin and Lake Oswego detectives contacted Martin at his home in Sherwood and took him into custody without incident.
Detectives credit the media for helping notify the public as well as the citizen who noticed the car and reported it to police immediately.
Police think there could be other victims and ask anyone with any information related to additional crimes to please contact Tualatin Detectives at 503-849-9177.
On Thursday, December 26, 2013 at approximately 8:56pm, Tualatin Police responded to a report of a sexual exposure at Starbucks, located at 19321 SW Martinazzi Avenue, in Tualatin.
When officers arrived they learned that a man pulled up to the drive-thru window with his genitals exposed and was masturbating.
The Starbucks employee described the suspect as a white male adult, approximately 40 years of age. He was wearing a button-up shirt that was unbuttoned and pulled open. He was not wearing any pants. He was also wearing a baseball style cap with brown hair sticking out from the bottom of the hat. The suspect's vehicle was described as a dark gray or blue sedan with the license plates removed.
